- Fashion edit-a-thon at Nordiska museet
On Thursday March 26 2015, Nordiska museet (Content Partner) and the Armémuseum (Associated Partner) of the Europeana Fashion project will co-organize a fashion edit-a-thon together with Wikimedia Sweden and Europeana Fashion. Students, fashion bloggers, curators working with fashion or costumes and other interested writers are invited to participate in this edit-a-thon aimed at improving and expanding fashion related articles on Wikipedia. A variety of fashion related source material will be available, for instance a set of recently digitized 19th century fashion illustrations, as well as a selection of fashion photos from 1945–1965. The presentations are given in English. Bring your own laptop – free wifi is available. If you can't participate the entire day it's perfectly fine to leave early. During the entire day, edit-a-thon participants have a special offer in the museum shop: buy three books on fashion, jewellery or textiles and pay for two (the least expensive book is for free). Just show your name tag in the shop. Coffee and tea will be provided all day, as well as a lunch voucher that include Loka/lättöl, salad and coffee or tea.
Last day of registration: March 24. The number of participants is limited.

Articles to work on
[redigera | redigera wikitext]Some suggestions, hopefully more will be added during the day:
- Hatt – massor av olika hattmodeller beskrivs på engelska wikipedia men saknas på svenska.
- Mode – bryt ut avsnittet om modehistoria och gör till separat artikel/artiklar per stilperiod
- Empir (och säkert många andra stilar) saknar modebilder
- Skapa artiklar om modetidskrifter som nämns i utställningen Modemakt
- lägg till egna förslag här!
