Sphaerostephanos acrostichoides[1] är en kärrbräkenväxtart som först beskrevs av Nicaise Augustin Desvaux, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av Holtt. Sphaerostephanos acrostichoides ingår i släktet Sphaerostephanos och familjen Thelypteridaceae.[2][3] Inga underarter finns listade.[2]
