Hercinothrips femoralis[1][2][3][4][5] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Reuter 1891. Hercinothrips femoralis ingår i släktet Hercinothrips och familjen smaltripsar.[6][7][8] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[8] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[6]
