Chrysocharis viridis[1] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck 1834. Chrysocharis viridis ingår i släktet Chrysocharis och familjen finglanssteklar.[19][20][21] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[21] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[19]
