Chrysocharis orbicularis[4] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck 1834. Chrysocharis orbicularis ingår i släktet Chrysocharis och familjen finglanssteklar.[13][14][15] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[15] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[13]
