Bothynotus pilosus[2][3] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Karl Henrik Boheman 1852. Bothynotus pilosus ingår i släktet Bothynotus och familjen ängsskinnbaggar.[4][5][6] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[6] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[4]
