Chaitophorus salicti[6][11][12][13][7][8][14][15][16][9][17][18] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Franz Paula von Schrank 1801. Enligt Catalogue of Life[19][20] ingår Chaitophorus salicti i släktet Chaitophorus och familjen långrörsbladlöss, men enligt Dyntaxa[21] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Chaitophorus och familjen borstbladlöss. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[21] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[19]
